Breast Cancer Awareness Month

One incredible thing my company does is creates these awareness shades each month & pledge a donation to different organizations involved in treatments or awareness.

Since 1985 people have been coming together for breast cancer awareness. This month on October 5th at 11:30 EST Color Street will launch Meta Strong & Pink Power to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Shop them 24/7 until they are sold out. Limited edition collection

Color Street Foundation is honored to pledge a total of $200,000 USD to organizations that fund prevention and risk-reduction education, research, awareness, and post-diagnosis support for those affected by breast cancer: $50,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), $50,000 to National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), $50,000 to METAvivor, and $50,000 to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC).

In addition, two Breast Cancer Awareness shades are launching tomorrow, 10/5, at 10:30 AM CT! Pink Power, a glittery pink, and METAstrong, a colorful glitter gradient, were specially designed to promote conversations and help raise awareness.

Men & Women are both diagnosed with Breast Cancer yearly & sometimes we don’t know what to do or how to help.

Early detection is important and why so many want to spread awareness.

Here are a few Suggestions on how to support a loved one during this time. It’s not a easy thing for anyone to talk about but we were not made to do anything alone.

Make sure to stop and think how you would like support & make sure to listen to their needs.

Make sure to check your local areas this month for other ways to donate & support breast cancer awareness, survivors & family members. A few ways you can show your support in October & every month of the year

Educate yourself & Share with others -

remember to educate yourself & others on early detection & about setting up your mammogram.

Wear Plink—

Each Etsy for or locally owned shops for shirts, bracelets & more!

Volunteer -

Check your area for opportunities to volunteer at cancer centers or ways to help with someone with their errands

Participate in a run or walk in your area -

Most areas or high schools will host a walk or run where you can show your support

Partner with your local breast cancer charity and host a fundraiser

Help local businesses decorate & place educational information in the community-

Educational poster, window paint & more can help spread awareness in your area. Get a group together & offer to help local businesses share awareness at their store front

Do you have more ideas for sharing support in your community? I’d love to hear them in the comments
