Q: Where is home?
Currently Houston County is my home! I've lived on Mcdonough, Tifton, & Valdosta GA!
Q: What kind of camera do you use?
My current camera is a Cannon Rebel T5. I love it!
Q: How far in advance do I need to book my session?
Great question! If you have an event, you will want to book months ahead to make sure I am available. Senior sessions book fast & year around packages are limited. I want all my clients to get the time they deserve so booking your summer before your senior year is ideal to get a spot. Portraits can be booked a month in advance, as long as I have availablity. Any newborn sessions need lots of advance since I block out a few days to make sure I'm there when you need me!
Q: Do you travel for sessions ?
Yes! I love having sessions in new places! If your session is outside Houston County there is a $.35 fee per mile. If you are two hours or more driving time there is a $200 fee for travel/lodging.
Q: What's involved in booking my session?
First you contact me with your date to check my availability. Once you pick a date I will send over your contract & invoice. Once your contract is signed & returned with your non refundable $100 retainer paid through PayPal your session will be booked. We will have a preconsultation to go over your location, outfits, products you want, & plan out your session! I am there to help with all the little things that matter. The day of your session we meet at the location talk for a few minutes & jump into our fun filled photo shoot! Once our session is over two to four weeks later we will meet for your reveal & ordering appointment!
Q: How would you describe your style?
I love real moments, real laughter, honestly you! My edits are matte with a little edge. I like my subject to be semi bright & the backgrounds to fade.
Q: Did you go to school for photography or are you self taught?
I actually have a bachelors in psychology & a minor in sociology. After I graduated I took online photography classes but I am mostly self taught.
Q: Can I show you poses I like?
Yes of course! I have lots of poses & ideas for all my sessions, however if there is something you like I would love to see it & help create that look for you.
Q: Are you photographing others events/sessions on the same day as mine?
No I only book one session a day & only a few weekend sessions. I want my clients to have my attention & get the images that capture their special moments. I also want to give my family the time they deserve, so some weekends /days are reserved for them!
Q: I don't know what products I want, can you help?
Yes! That's what I am here for! If you want me to create a product package for you based on your style & need for your products I can customize a package for you. In your preconsultation we go over what you plan to do with your images. This helps both of us decide the products you want.
Q: I only want digital images, can I order only digital?
Personally I don't love the idea of digital images just sitting on a disk, unseen, & forgotten. There are lots of photographers out there who love giving their digital. They might be a better pick for you. I however love to display your beautiful images, have them to pass down for generations, smile as you remember those moments & create art from your memories. You can purchase your digital images from me, in most contracts for each print purchased I give you a copy of the the low resolution images for social sharing. My goal is for you to love your images & display them.
